Sarebbe utile capire i tempi di accelerazione delle barche dopo ogni virata e di spunto massimo nel breve e medio tratto. A parte questo, scusatemi ma le colorazioni di Ineos sono veramente pessime; mi sembra un minestrone. 😅

The consistent swell in Barcelona is quite substantial, a lot more than Auckland NZ, being able to fly and manoeuvre well is a compromise between ride height and steer-ability. I think it’s too soon to condemn Britannia just yet though, she doesn’t look quite as svelte and sleek as the Italians but as yet we’ve no head to head comparison. Ben Ainslie needs to deliver, he is in danger of becoming “nearly there but never quite there Ben”, aka Tim Henman.

during maneuvers the hull touches the water too many times... ineos seems clumsy and not very agile.

I would recommend flying a lot higher in this sort of wind and sea state. The "end plate" effect is a lot less relevant in these conditions. It really only becomes critical in very low wind conditions

questa barca è la più pericolosa del lotto assieme a Luna Rossa guardate con quale facilità si mantiene stabile in volo.. (e a occhio e croce va come una scheggia) sempre a vista Ineos e Alinghi non reggono il confronto ne con AM ne con LR... Luna rossa comunque al momento ha delle vele che sono da paura!

e questa centesimo più centesimo meno è la barca di NZ.. Se devo giudicare da quello che vedo in acqua non ha la stabilità di volo "easy" come quella dimostrata (fin qui) da Luna Rossa e dagli Americani... considerando che barcellona non è il "lago di Hauraki" dove l'onda non è praticamente mai un problema .. sarò scemo ma io prevedo una finale tra gli sfidanti LR e AM. Poi si vedrà.. la coppa.. certamente ETNZ ha come sempre molte altre frecce al suo arco...

That's a serious sea state but avoiding a trawler is a new racecourse hazard for sure!!! I'm sure the lesson has been learnt in the most painful way. No one saw that kind of issue coming.

yes i have to say the brits seem to have correcten the front/heavey aspect and they are showing real mettle...however have yer seen Luna Rossa wow that is a silver bullett to challenge those cheeky Kiwis

struggling for speed have aero issues - I believe particularly air flow over the deck at speed

lavorare in silenzio, sotto traccia, crescere piano piano ma costantemente e capire al meglio la barca che hai in mano per migliorare lei e l'equipaggio. Il segreto lo hanno capito nella scorsa coppa. Andiamo Luna, che sei fortissima!!!!
