EASIEST Zero Clearance Router Fence
Here I build a the easiest Zero Clearance Router Fence. This DIY router fence is especially good to prevent chip out. Watch how an auxiliary fence closes the gap around the router bit, so short pieces won't dip into the open space. This was used on a benchtop router table, but can be used on any router table.

Love it, Thanks for sharing!
What size ball bearing did u use? Where did you find them?
Wish I'd seen this 11 years ago. I've stagnated this whole time with an audio-kinetic sculpture that I want made electric. I have piano pins and space for nine strings & two guitar pickups a friend gave me. Instead of a steel ball, I'll have either a hammer or strumming device
The FLAPPERS, yes 🙄
What's the name/make of the router table fence? Looks pretty adjustable and probably would work with my ancient Craftsman table.
I just picked up a home-use "Pinball Game" made by Briarwood in 1977 and it is missing a plunger. This is a great, Now I have a way to make this game playable again!
How much did this all cost
YOu should watch the video all the way to the end.
How much did this all cost
I was thinking about something like this. That is why I went to youtube. Thank you for making this video.
Update pls
Nice tracks
Any update?
Awesome job! Thanks.
Thank you - explanation is excellent
Thats really cool man , nice job , I made one , mine is purely mechanical too, I also have it posted
Yes this is cool. It could still be purely mechanical by storing energy from a foot powered sewing machine trundle and then the coils could pop when hit. Just an idea.
Nice Idea and look great, thanks
Beautiful, call me end project for view
Wow this is one the best projects I've seen like this! A lot of times hanging rectangular planters are made with janky flimsy supplies, this looks great and seems really sturdy too! A couple quick questions for you: How much was all of this? I looked for a pricing but couldn't find it. Also...could this be sealed and used for indoor use without the drainage holes? Thanks!
I want to do something similar to my front door. It's a metal fire=type door 1 3/4" thick. Question I have is with adding another 3/4" of an inch thickness with the outside trim how do you get the door knob and lock to fit as doorknobs and locks only fit a 1 3/4" thick door?
There are door knobs out there that can fit 2 1/4" thick or even some that fit 2 3/4" thick doors. It will probably be easier to buy them online rather than a local store.
can you tell me the name of each material?
good job...nice!!
A scoring screen wouldn't hurt but it's still really cool
marbles over tuning forks or guitar wire to make sounds
your awesome boiiiiii we are using this method for class......THANKS MY DUDE
Very nice and simple. Thanks...
Nice job!
Great work
Nice job!

nice
you should paint it it would look even cooler
Nice Video! Thanks for sharing!!
You need to put bumpers in the middle.
There will be more bumpers and another ramp.
I like it alot......but it just loses something without the lites and active bumpers......still really good though,,,
How did you make the flippers?
Mr Cavanaugh show us the Flippers schematic
can you please try to make a non electric Hobbit Pinball Machine
The link does not work
way too much free time buddy
+TheBostonscammyd1983 jealous? its his time..
can you please do a tutorial on how you make everything shown in part one of Indiana Jones Homemade Pinball Machine ""Part 1"" ?
Awesome!
Phyxis 101 love the pinball. I made an early 1979's pinball from scratch and you can view the overview at:czcams.com/video/w0rsRMapTBo/video.html
Thnx 4 showing..... exactly what I was looking 4
Amazing stuff!
Dude. Tis shit is awesome
how did you make your flippers? use glue, bolts, nuts? (I'm using gorilla glue on bolts and wood flippers. still working on it.) yours looks really cool! mine won't have any electronics on it, but maybe later. got to get mine working correctly. hope you have more videos! good luck!
And I was hoping you'd gut an old laptop for scorekeeping and sound in Linux and some live bumpers and targets with LED blinky-lights for a lot of crazy action. *shrug* But at least this way it's always playable if the power ever goes out. And since it seems the goal is to stay unpowered, it perhaps you could add some wind-up springs that could power noise-makers when hit. Stuff like music box mechanisms or wind-up alarm clocks made to sound for one rotation of some cam that shuts off the noise and re-cogs whatever target to be hit again. Anyhow the only other suggestion I could think of for this design is an angled ramp at the bottom that returns balls to the plunger through a side slot. Pulling on a spring loaded gate would let the ball fall through the slot to the plunger. That way you could put a top on the playfield as there's less need for manually grabbing the ball to re-load.
Nice Flippers but in the middle is nothink ! you must fill the middle then is the Flippers perfect
Sports pinball machine
This is an excellent idea but I wish you had actually turned the ShopVac on and compared the before and after. Thank you for sharing your idea though.
I didn't add the sound of the shopvac due to the fact that you couldn't hear the difference in the video, but I tested it with a sound meter and there was a 7 decibel difference.
Nice, but you should actually use real coils for the flippers I think :) They are a bit weak now, and the ramps seem a bit too hard to hit.
coils are not that expensive either. please use them
