I feel like this is a pretty good showcase of signature and recognizable-ness. Some drag queens have such unique makeup that it's easily recognizable even when just looking at their eyes, and this makes them memorable, which can be very important when they're on reality TV. Basically a literal "I'm not like other girls" moment I guess

Seeing Trixie's makeup come up is like when there's a song that you THINK you know the lyrics to but you only actually know the chorus. You kind of mumble along and stumble over your words for the entire verse, then when the chorus comes around, you absolutely belt it out.
