I have a Traxxas 3.3 mine sounds nothing like that and my temps do not get so high that I can't hold the head or touch the head. You might think I live in a cooler climate no I live in Houston Texas where we have triple digit ambient temps consistently.

FYI….Sam, ours missing those screws… we went through same trials. Bill does NOT recommend use of loctite! Removed the front plate as it gets in the way of sliding 6s lips in n out. Very cool boat, I drove all over looking for damn pool noodles, and I live in south Florida! lol Like ur channel btw, and ur commentary is excellent, very informative with out the drama..also a fan of iron clad, n h2o mech, roto… What’s up with the European FE boat guys being so tightlipped about setup…They build some nice stuff over there!

I flew with both Mike and Bill in the 1990’s. Mike was a great guy and Bill was a prince of a fellow. Wonderful times.

You really should mount the GPS inside because the drag from it could cost you like a whole mph aerodynamically seriously. Beautiful boat to absolutely gorgeous.
