This young man lost his necklace. To get it back he had to dance, then dance some more. With great respect for his elders, he accepted what he had to do, and did not protest. He showed great strength and courage. I can only imagine what would happen if the white man did this in America. Instead of great discipline, you would see a whining, defiant, weak baby turn their back and run. At the begi...

Wow the commentators were at the top of their game back there.
Make ESPN great again like this
‘Pedal powered’ Unless you’re selling it.
Shutup nerd
I've got an old sit on top I'd love to convert to that first hydropowered one. can I get cad models of the hydrofoil to 3D print?
Yes the last century was the best American century, this one sucks.
Unbelievable that you can't spell "pedal".
Shutup nerd
Human power > lithium battery
Spell Check ? Peddle = Pedal ?

Old tv commercials, the memories.
Ahh some good ol boring Saturday afternoon sports 😢 Too many choices these days 😮
This ist old but Genius fun🎉
I live in The Netherlands, and as a teenager I kano'ed A LOT. But now, I decided, that, I NEED THIS KAYAK ! I can already imagine the faces looking, haha, yes, this is awesome.
When was this ! Late 80’s ?
Is their a break peddle to?
What fun!!
so why did no one think to use a mountain bike with multiple gears?
Fascinating, but you can't spell pedal!
Shutup nerd
That 140 mph bicycle record? I think the new record is now over 180!
TF how do I get that bike XD
@@Dr.Mcstaby Get a tow up to almost that speed, then peddle the difference with a car to draft behind. Kind of bs
11:20 Then, I see Tesla pulled to the start line... Driver says he charged it by foot, but Tesla will leave everyone in the dust! Practical application!
Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about?
Wow….very nice idea.
When it has two wheels, it's called a bike or bicycle. When it has three or four tires, they're called trikes and quadricycle. Here's an interesting fact for you. Henry Ford invented the word quadricycle. Why did he do that. The first vehicle he built was called that. That was in the late 1800s. I described to a few of my friends another version of a quadricycle.
An electric hydro-kayak would be fun.
I've been thinking the exact same thing for several years. Also wings, for air in ground effect, and sick jumps.
You bet!
It's "pedal powered", not peddle powered. They are not selling anything.
Shutup nerd
lmao wth this is like whacky raises, cool different ideas
24:30 - 55 миль в час ! 90 км/ч обалдеть...
Этот рекорд побит.
Way out there!
omg every one of these is so amazing! thank you for uploading this!
They say Harsh Reality's pilot is sore to this day.
white people be cray cray
Hawaii here I come.
See Steve Go..!
Wow, I want want of those ultra light hydrofoils!
Why can't people on the Internet spell the word "Pedal" correctly?
why the English speakers can't speak articulately?... I learn English and still can not recognize words... Pronunciation like all the ppl are drunk
They don't know how to use the Internet.
Shutup nerd
peddle powered? How does that even work? He goes around peddling something and people will then PEDAL his kayak for him?
Is it possible to make difference in pronunciation of Peddle and Pedal ?
Shutup nerd
Oops. Thanks for the humorous correction.
"This is Harsh Reality." lol
It must have a surreal experience when it chrashed
Amazing, what happened to this sport?
It did not brought back big lot of money and died... Yet another "American History X"
I think it's still happening
@@jamesengland7461 I wish.

Thank you this was entertaining
Steve Shutt the NHL player?
No, he was a brilliant programmer at Rockwell in the 80s.
Great to see! Thank you. Back in 1994, six years after this broadcast, I bought a Kingcycle with fairings. At the time, it held the land speed record, but I'm not sure who the engine was for the Kingcycle Bean. I still have the recumbent in my shed, beside my ZOX tandem recumbent.
I need help making my own vehicle please someone help me.
which vehicle would you like to make?
@@jwserge Any kind I'd like to build one with hydrofoils to left it out of the water and to be amphibious and if I can put nuclear radiation shielding on it so it can protect me like a mini bunker on bicycle wheels and then have rock crawling expanding wheels like this video czcams.com/video/OXQZMmCvTEg/video.html so I can crawl over broken buildings. would be cool if I had friends to build it with.
@@jwsergewish someone would help me build a 4 wheel amphibious vehicle.
Get a better chicken stick, or you will die.
That music lol…
Think I enjoyed the old commercials as much
I wish we would go back to commercials like this! It just tells you what the thing they're selling is and why they think it's good. It's so much calmer.
Dylan mulvaney didn't age too well in that bud lite ad.
This is great to see again and very inspiring. Ultralight hydrofoils were so advanced and in many regards, more advanced than now.
I can't believe I never run across this. I've been wanting one of these with an e-bike motor slapped in it. Guess I can just make one.
Seems like people have been getting dumber over time.
This is fascinating. In early 2016 I started building a rough prototype for a 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer pedal kart. I built it aft finishing 9 months of treatments for Lyme disease. Then I had to stop working on it when the Lyme disease returned. I also needed a bit more money for machining splines on 3/4” shafts. I dismantled the parts connecting two sides of the frame a few days ago and I plan on building a simpler version in which I can use the axle shafts I salvaged from a 4 wheel steer lawn tractor. When it’s done I’m going to put a blade on the front to plow the snow off the sidewalk.
that sounds cool!
Lyme's a rough go, I hope it's working out for you.
