Hey guys, I haven't seen this out here in CZcams land so I wanted to share it in case anyone wants to swap out their grille cloth. The cover is mounted with velcro so it's super easy to remove. enjoy!

Where you bough a roller bridge?
Cant beat the vh rock for the money.
@vmathias2023 they're pretty good..how but just enough output to be dangerous without being crazy compressed. I like them.

What exact model/brand of a roller bridge do you use?

@@modscientist9793 is there only one rollerbridge model and this one fits? I have the airline silver version of the gretsch g5230t. Thanks again!
@@2PunishAndEnslave there's only one roller bridge on their site and it fits the 5230t. Id get the soft touch spring too. The stock spring is so stiff that there's no feel in the bar. If you get the spring just take out the washer that sits in the recess holding the spring, that's if you find the bar to sit too high which I did. Don't lose it i case you ever want to go bac. But i don't think you would want to and take feel out of the be. Have fun.

I have an all original 1984 Kramer Focus 3000, I think I’ll get this. The original pickups sound thin.

I'm a fan....he's a great player..unfortunately i had to sacrifice it to fight an eviction...I miss this one..oh well. Life. Enjoy it. It's an awesome guitar.

Hello again sir. I got the LB Strat and it is wow! The only issue I am having is neck gloss lacquer is a little sticky to my liking. Any remedies you would suggest for that?
@@danielhanson6622 3M green scrubbie Scothbrite pad. Will knock off the sheen and make more satin feeling. Gently and gery lightly to your liking.

If the wiring mod is done on an HSS strat, is it possible for one of the bridge only position to be for the Humbucker split coil, or reverse phase???
Should mate the ceramic bridge with alnico middle & neck...

Yes the spring and roller bridge I purchased from Reverendguitars.com and the Vibramate string spoiler you can just get from Amazon, if you're interested in the Vmate. Hope it helps. Stay blessed.

Thanks for this video, I've been looking for something like this for two weeks. I wanted to hear if the EMG single coils could handle hair metal type distortion or if I should get the splittable EMGs (although I've been trying to break away from Humbuckers). Both the clean and driven sounds sound great!

Thanks, you are right a guitar should sound great clean to begin with for singing open chords is the way to judge how a guitar sounds!

@@modscientist9793 Yes, the only thing is that the board comes as it comes with the circuit printed.

Hi. I bought a G5220 (still waiting for it to arrive) - its almost the same but without the bigsby. Do you have any idea which model is the bigsby on your guitar? I know its a stock one, but if I find the same bigsby, it will probably fit better. Thanks
Hey, how exactly would you go about adding a bypass to the amp section? I have a Line 6 pod pro.
@modscientist9793 no, the amps. Bypass the amps. I like the cabs, and I would like to capture them, but with the amps turned on, it would color the sound, so I would like to figure out how to add a bypass to the amp section so I can get a clean capture of the cabs.
I have the g50 and it really is a fantastic base amp with a great speaker and really loud. So you're saying I could take a screwdriver and pop out the speaker grill cough cover? Is it that easy. Cuz I'm going to try it when I get home because I really don't like the gray on there but the amp is just pure power you hook a few pedals up. And it's definitely loud enough for anything these days in opinion.
Yeah the grillel cover is just Velcroed in on its own separate framework. Baffle cover.
@@jimmyjames7946 it's pretty incredible that they can put something together that's so good at its price point. I love mine..great pedal platform too. Gamma got a winner with these 2. Super clean, loud, even the dirty channel sounds pretty darn good. Enjoy.
@@modscientist9793 agreed! I have bought and sold a lotta amps in the last 20 years .. the speaker alone is a beast. Definitely designed to handle any pedal you put in it. I use 2 overdrives at a time a lot and it takes it and sounds great. 200 dollars ?? Surprised they are not more known. They should make a2x12 with effects loop ,🤘
@@jimmyjames7946 an effects loop would've been nice. But yes..I've done the same, gone through many amps. I kept this, my peavey vypyr 75, Orange 35rt, and my Katana 50 mk2. The Gamma easily holds its own with these.
@@jimmyjames7946 you'd love the orange..has its own mojo for sure..i fell in love with it, sounds like nothing I own..the Katana is really good especially when paired with something like the KatAir pedal controller...but you're right the first Vypyr series was something in it's own right and worthy of a place in your home rig if you dig modeling amps..I just updated mine, I added a speaker out and an external fuse holder..it's not going anywhere. It's also another case where an effects loop and a more standard controller would've really opened up possibilities. But I like it alot nevertheless.

Also, back off a hair on the Bigsby mounting screws. To tight into the body, can actually put torque on the Bigsby frame and put a bind in the lever axle,. If you take the spring out of the lever and the handle feels stiff or sticky, the Bigsby frame has to much torque. Ease off on the mounting screws and the lever will move more freely. Compton or Tru-Arc bridges work great with Bigsby's, too. They come in Stainless, Brass, Copper, Aluminum and Titanium. No moving rattley adjustable saddles and the top is compensated to the string gauge you use when you order it. They love Bigsbys.

Are those Wilkinson Mseries pickups ?
I love my dg20’s! If you lower them, you’ll get more of a vintage tone. Raising them gave mine a P-90’ish tone. They’re probably the most versatile “sounding” pu’s I’ve got on any of my guitars (14…I’m a guitar whore). I have to remember to unplug it after I’ve finished playing it or it drains the battery.
Cant wait to get my guitar back with these. Its a 90s slammer by hamer. My original electric guitar. But I have to say your flag is backwards my man.

with this mod on my schecter hellraiser, can i drop from d to C the 6 string without loosing tuning stability? because the D tuna its so expensive and some people says that doesnt work on a full float system (the EVH guitars are like a strat tremolo floyd, not a full floyd like hellraisers)
