Although it is a part of history, The point of history is to not repeat it. My family came over as Irish slaves in the late 1600s. And then we ended up as extremely poor farmers in the mountains. However, I do have the privilege of living in the path of Turner‘s rebellion. Being surrounded by rich history, and knowing that there were people out there willing to fight for the freedoms that they have received is a miracle.
