If I had some better ventilation in the shop I would get a small AC but with the wood shaving and epoxy I think it would clog the filters and fans. Its almost fall here in Texas which means temps in the 90s which will make it more tolerable in the shop.

Unfortunately you need a pressure pot to get rid of the bubbles while it cures. I used to not have a pressure pot and all my resin would have bubbles. So, in my experience you need a pressure pot to pour deep and to avoid bubbles.

The color in the end surprised me too, it was a lot better looking after I was done. I am sweating crazy in the shop right now but I am staying pretty hydrated. Its over 100 here in Texas again but I am getting through. Stay cool in Colorado and thanks again for leaving a comment and supporting the channel.

This is really good epoxy. I would still recommend. The key to pouring a table top is hanging around after the pour to pop the air bubbles. Get either a heat gun or torch and when the bubbles appear pop them using one of those by just applying a little bit of hit from a distance. Look up Black Tail Studio on youtube he has a whole "how to" on pouring tables. But watch his channel and he will be able to answer any questions you might have. Hope this helps.

I haven't decided yet but I want to get something larger for bigger projects. Problem is space right now but I am looking at maybe a larger Nova Lathe. Going to use my midi lathe up until it gives out before I make the switch.

Thank You, I actually do have some wooden blanks sitting in the shop right now. A few variety of blanks that I haven't gotten to yet. I am going to start those a little later in the year. Its over 100 degrees here in Texas right now. Waiting on a cooling trend to get in the shop and turn those pens.

@saultytexas Shit I know the feeling, brother. It's hot as he'll here, and I started working on part two. I've been working on this project two weeks ago, and it's been one he'll of a ride. Temps are going up.

Thank You, I used to do that but I need to size them correctly so they fit in the mold. The other problem is placing them so that I can turn them down so they don't show in the final project. I probably will get back to doing that in future larger projects.

I painted my floor only with this single bucket of epoxy seal and added nothing else and it hasn't peeled. It's still going strong after all this time. Only thing I did was clean the floor prior to putting on the epoxy seal.

@@saultytexas thanks, all I did was leaf blow, and put down 2 coats of paint and 2 coats of the clear. - its like 5 days later, and it looks PERFECT. looks super glossy, like a finished commercial product, zero peeling. and im not driving vehicles on it, just foot traffic. super excited for less than 70 dollars. covered up tons of stains and rust from misc things.
