LR Baggs Lyric acoustic guitar pickup - sound demo
In my opinion the most natural sounding pickup for acoustic guitar. Here, demonstrated a direct recording - raw signal and then processed with EQ and reverb.

Arturia Storm bass synths - Arsenic and Bass 52
zhlédnutí 175Před 21 hodinou
Arsenic bass line has the same features as the vintage synthesizers from the 1970's. A square oscillator is modulated by a low pass resonant filter. Bass 52 is a synthesizer which reproduces the characteristics of sound and playing of a fretted electric bass guitar. This module uses the concept of synthesis by physical modelling. 0:00 Arsenic 1:30 Bass 52

Lots of potential but too many competitors. R.I.P. Orion 😥

Amazing.
Hypersonic is one of my favourite vst instruments.
What in the 2000s goofy ass graphics fl studio audio mp3 is that shit
thanks 4 posting. The good ole dayz 🎈
Stupid techno!❤
Have you found a way to activate this on a new install? Since it's long dead, there is no server activation. I have this from many years ago, but cannot install it anymore because of that.
That’s what we call a jartermeesmack 😂😂❤❤❤
Great work
ahaha graphically it looked like last versions of reason, my god i remember well....the audio engine was good, I feel arturia was way ahead in terms of analogue modeling of analogue circuits. Reason was however more versatile and complete, however sad was soon abandoned in developing further versions even we have too many daw today...maybe they could re release it like vst rack similar to reason vst rack.
Love your work! Keep going!
Maybe a little bit more differantiation between those beats. A peak of some sorts. Like a story: a beginning, middle part, peak and end. Then your beats would be ear worms and easy to remember. But I feel some emotions in them and can imagen what you thought while creating them. Sorry for the bad grammar, I'm from germany
it sounds so good I remember well...used to mess with it around 2000/2002, on pc running cubase vst, and with motu digital performer on mac os9...still have a laptop running stuff like that. This thing had nothing to envy with recent arturia stuff or serum spire and so on, it's incredible but 1st gen of vst instruments like NI prophet 5, tc mercury, rebirth, or even 1st gen of virtual synth like jp8080, nord lead 1/2, supernova, an1x, z1 (I've owned all and some still I have...) sounded way better than nowadays even dsp were slower...I am still not able to find an answer about.
Totally agree! I don’t know what they did but this really sounded like a real analog synth. Still haven’t heard any soft synth come close to it. Only downside was that it was quite basic feature wise Would easily pay to see a new release with some extra features as long as they kept the same core sound in it.
@@Tommy-cl3im maybe the reason was spontaneity....semplicity....keeping things simple. Analog simulation via dsp assisted mathematically modeled circuits was a new concept and maybe that was the right way to walk but, developers maybe wanted to be day after day more accurate more complex more advanced and things started going worse....it's like a paniter that continues to adjust colors of a portrait with brushes on and on and on....there is a moment you have to stop and say that's finished, the progress needs to search new ways every day, so I am not meaning the solution would be stop analog modeling with d50 and say ok that's all folks, but maybe they were on a better direction. We have also to say that some modern analogue modeling is very good, let's say opx pro, or softube stuff, or roland cloud and boutique...but some gems of the past like nord lead 1/2, nord lead 3, supernova series, or jp8000/8080 are still unmatched, you could get a newer nord lead and it sounds great I have all I know what I say....but they sound different you cannot do with nord lead a1 what you get from a 2 or 2x, you have to own both (while there are almost no reason to own a korg triton if you have kronos or nautilus, or a motif if you own montage.....but you have to keep sy99 and wavestation even if you have nautilus wavestate and montage! that's the mistery of all that...).
@@kyma1999x Yes, I guess you're right in some parts. Though I believe this particular synth had something in the sound engine that the others don't. It really sounds like it's an electronic piece from the 70,s. I don't remember how good the filters were but the oscillators sounded like the real deal. Only soft synths that I have heard that comes close were some of the creamware pulsar synths. Especially the pro 1. I do like and work with many of the modern stuff but somehow they do not capture that real analog sound.
@@Tommy-cl3imI remember well all creamware stuff, I owned a dual pulsar II system with 12 dsp total around 2001/2002 and it was very unstable expecially with Xtc mode and logic platinum, yes their last gen of vst emulations like profit or prodyssey were so good, first gen I mean uknow007, bluesynth, minimax, inferno, etc....very shitty sounding even compared with some native vst but....I miss em they had some character! It would great if creamware make them uad/apollo compatible, quite easy being all based on same sharc/tigersharc architecture, or better native, a pulsar scope native bundle cross compatible with mac pc would be interesting e.g. for modular III stuff and old things...I would surely buy it.. At time being really into digital performer (my main computer was a portable G3 and a dual G4 800 Mhz...) pro tools tdm mix plus was my dream, it could be controlled via digital performer using DAE driver and it had very powerful dsp and native stuff e.g. virus tdm, or koblo studio....later came tc powercore which was a good compromise never owned personally but it had if I remember well Mercury and Virus DSP, a small slice of pro tools tdm at a fraction of cost.
Nice tone.
Amazing how they got the video to feel like 1994
I couldn't play any instruments or sing so I just spent my days mixing this song. Wow good times 20 years ago :)
I have this running in windows 11 as well:)
I still have my original Cakewalk Groove Maker disc and the IK Multimedia Groove Maker. I don't use it anymore because I just use those tracks in FL Studio. Unfortunately, I lost one of my Cakewalk discs so I only have 4 of the 8 packs it came with.
It has a warm and balanced rich tone, that rivals higher end guitars. Very nice for the price.
Wow! I haven't seen Guitar Tracks Pro since I used it in like 2004! What a blast from the past!
So basically no sound difference at all
They sound the same to me. But I am upgrading to bone because tusq wears out too fast. I have noticeable grooves after barely two weeks
Excellent song.
Thanks for a very fine demo. Excellent song for the comparison. I wish I could combine both tusq with the bone all in one saddle. I really like the bone but the tusq has a little cleaner/sustain sound. I'm currently trying out a bone saddle I just put in my gibson hummingbird that's 13 yrs old. It's only had tusq in it all these years. Excellent guitar for the demo. I am leaning on going back to the tusq. I contend that every guitar l has its own unique sound. Thanks again.
Omg this is a blast from the past. I used to jam out to this demo track, I analyzed it too and learned a lot about the Orpheus synth in the process
Hello I m looking for this bundle do you know where I can find it please
Both sound great but in comparison I prefer the TUSQ.
👍🙏
I still have a working copy of this program , Cakewalk Guitar tracks Pro 2.0 , on a few discs and on a hard drive or two , as well. As backup copies. And I still use it to record. I honestly don’t like updating it. It works and it’s easy to use . So why update anything.
I loved that program ❤
Siempre funciona bien, cargará nuevos plugins vst?
is there ANY WAY that i can use magix studio 2004 with windows 10 or 11????????????????????????
Orion became free along the way, that's what the support wrote to me we do not mind if people run Abandonware, which Orion is, at least currently But Dune2 does not apply to Abandonware.
As a VSTi, I'd buy this SOB just on its own. I wish Roland would reissue the JX-305 or make a more modern version of it, without 'Fantom-ing' all over themselves in the process. I also like the rather 'digital' color of Roland gear from that era.
horrible timing
The best
Cool video, what's the name of that tune?
I love the bone. (that's what she said 💋)
He's good at drum programming.
@Assorted you have remade one of the "how it's made" BGMs with the Roland Groovesynth only! XD
Hi, really nice playing and nice bassguitar :) So Da capo 75 can be use as bassguitar amp as well?
Used this and the first GT Pro. Recorded whole albums with it. Took the last project to a studio with SONAR for mixing and mastering. So long ago.
oooooh....my.....God..... Neonnn the first VST instrument ever made, stock on cubase vst 24!!! It sounds really really crap, i have it on cubase vst 5.1 along with Universal Sound Module another super crappy thing and VB1 aaaah how many hours spent at time on this new technology! cubase stock plug ins were quite terrible at time compared to digital performer or logic stuff, I mean eq, dynamics, wunderverb, karlette, fuzzbox....but at time we used them quite a lot. Model - E instead sounds quite good still today, best steinberg vst instrument but it was not stock.
wow I have project 5 on windows 10 but but rewire midi doesn't appear inside cubase vst or sx...I would like to use it to control dreamstation from cubase, I love that blue synth and I didn't found another ways to use it.
...was it a sort of poor man's logic audio?!
Pretty much. Magix licensed the PC version of Logic after the Apple buyout. This app is still useful today if you like Logic on PC for midi.
@@PsybervisionAmbient at time I had logic audio platinum 5.5.1 on pc, still have my copy...the synths esP, esE and esB were made by magix, they are still inside apple logic pro x. I don't think magix version of logic has ES2 or EXS24 inside, they are really powerful instruments. today I mostly use logic pro x on apple m2 along with cubase pro and digital performer, but I still have a windows machine running old software like cubase vst, never tryied magix version, i think is impossibile to find one somewhere in stores.
this was the first DAW I ever owned actually this was standard back then a lot of us learned on this.
This was the best software ever, does anyone have a download link? I still have an operating version on my windows millennium system. Does anyone know how to transport that to another operating system?
I was making music way back when with the Atari 1040ST, one of the first versions of Cakewalk, and an Oberheim drum machine. Lot's of fun. Many hours spent getting support from Cakewalk🥴
Can you sell me this product ?
I wrote an entire DnB album with this when I was 16! It sucked haha
Hi, can you help me with Groove Synth? I use speakers for tge Output, but the Groove Synth doesn't bring out any sound... i dont know why, but when i use other VSTs like TTS-1 then sound comes, but for Roland... i tried doing alot of thing but still nothing. It would mean alot if you helped me! Thanks in advance!!
