Glad I pick up this anime after half of the episodes were done. Truly have fun watching Laio's team fighting and cooking in the dungeon. The style of the story was serious and playful at the same time, which is definitety Studio Trigger's best feature, and they did it so well. We still have season 2, so lets look forward to the remaining plot of the story.
In my honest opinion, Yasunori Mitsuda did a really great job for his work here. They are atmospheric and immersive which fit the story at a high level. Yet they match the story so much that I can hardly find a lot of unique soundtracks in the anime. Its not a poor thing tho. He is totally successful for the job.
Here is a combination of my covers for Yasunori Mitsuda's work in Dungeon Meshi Season 1. With a complete sound library for a full orchestra, I tried a lot of orchestral techniques this time, including more articulations and dynamics to make it as lively as possible. Please enjoy!
