@@M3RRYDELUXE My apologies. What I wanted to write was 'the writer needs to train' not 'be trained'. I own this. However, I stand by my criticism. Her writing involves way too many trite remarks, her characters say or think one thing and end up doing the opposite. Frankly, some of the characters may purposely have that flaw but surely not all the characters. Then again, I must repeat, in her endeavour of delivering twists in the end she deceives her readers until the end and I despise such writers.

Yes Vegas is getting overpopulated, the lack of traffic was something I loved and was one of the main reasons I Ieft Houston. My Vegas adventure may have come to an end but we’ll know in the coming weeks for sure 🙃

@@M3RRYDELUXE They fight back on every single thing - even leasing (they let two residents live there for MONTHS without payment before initiating eviction) while those that want to get out - they won't let go. I cannot believe how horrible this is (drug use in the hallways again / sexual activity during early mornings while moms are walking by with strollers). Bugs in hallways again. I do not believe the rental situation has changed - there are definitely non residents in droves again. So much more to say but you already know - thank you for posting this...

I grew up there and always knew I was going to move as an adult. The city just never fit my lifestyle and didn't cater to the things I prioritize. When I moved in 2014, there were 16,000 people relocating there weekly, that didn't help either. The flooding, the lights going out, I honestly don't know why people are still moving there like it's the last city on earth.

Yea I have matte cabinets at my place now and I love it for the apartment style. For this property, the gloss would have taken it up a notch. Elysian at post looks like 3 stories only so no elevators most likely which is a no for me. Vestra is nice too. Juhl is older and located downtown but other than that the units are nice.

@@M3RRYDELUXE omg if Post doesn’t have elevated, that’s likely going to be a hard no. FK! Fair to say Elysian at Palms may be the only one with? I don’t want to live on the lower level and elevators is a must. Thought elevators was standard… 😵‍💫

@@ItsJustMeSteviehahaha yea so industry standard is that anything less than 4 stories is not required to have an elevator so most builders use that workaround to cut costs. All the Elysians have elevators but if you’re trying to be close to the strip then yes palms is it.

I get deducted $600-$800 monthly for state taxes. I’ll definitely be saving lots more in Vegas. I’m born and raised in Cali and am so ready for a change. I like drastic weather so im excited about that. Working from home, I’m fortunate to be able to live anywhere and want to try Vegas and see how that goes. I don’t care much for the beach tbh.
