My friend and I played this for years, and still very rarely hop on and play for a bit if there are any servers worth joining. If we're driving somewhere and we drive pass each other, on cue both of us turn our heads towards each other, put on a shitty imitation of the Blockhead smile, and flail our arms up and down like you would in game. It's so stupid, but it reminds us of the silly Lego game we've played since we were 10.

The creators are whack jobs, the moderation has a huge grooming issue, the community is toxic enough that they’ll ban anyone who talks bad about the game, and it’s god-awfully optimized. Just play blockland, don’t give any credit to this cheap knock-off.

Tbh It seems good, but the reputation for this game for me is already kinda ruined, it's highly political and over the top community makes it not seem ideal for a place to have fun, it's difficult to find a a game like Roblox or anything that's multiplayer sandbox/game maker, that's popular and fun despite being political af idk why everything has got to be so political and why people can't ahve genuine fun anymore.

I remember the only reason I got into blockland as a kid was because roblox wasn’t on Mac at the time which is the comp my family had at the time and man the HOURS and hours I put into the game, especially when RTB was out in full swing
