Wow! SRUNNING!!!!
Jacmel is beautiful, truly wish I could visit one day. Also, do you happen to know anywhere where I can learn Haitian Creole ?
I am not 100% sure where you can go specifically. I have heard of folks learning when they are around a Haitian community. I know one person that learned Haitian Creole that way and he became better at it because he got to practice it at work. Another option is trying something like Preply and look for Haitians teaching French and see if they also teach Haitian Creole. preply.com/
Hopefully a few folks see your comment and make a few suggestions.

@@jherielgonzalez9863 Thank you your kind words and support. We appreciate it.
Crap over?😂 I always celebrate after a good crap😂😂
When yall ga celebrate JESUS?
I can't answer for all Haitians. But for my family, every day we celebrate Jesus. Thanks for your comment.
I love Haitian artwork! I’d love to get some for myself, it’s very different from typical Caribbean art and it’s very very very lovely. I love this! Keep up the good work!
Thank you very much. We appreciate your kind words. I agree that Haitian artwork is very unique and can be distinguished from artwork from the Caribbean and other places. I purchased a few paintings when I visited Haiti, but I also have some beautiful metal pieces purchased from Etsy that were made and shipped from Haiti.
Gonave is bigger than Barbados Gonave is roughly the size of Dominica in fact it’s bigger than a lot of islands in the Caribbean
That is amazing, I think it is amazing that Haiti has this island that is so big- bigger that whole countries. Just my thoughts. Thanks for your comment.
I heard Haitians did the same in Gabon 🇬🇦. But i can't find sources on it. Maybe the sources are in french
I was not aware of that and plan to look into it. Thanks for your comment.
Love this video! I will be using it to honor Haitian Flag Day with my students this year. Please keep making more classroom safe videos!
Thank you. We are happy that you like it.
Nice
Thanks

What part They don't understand about the true native American Indians what part
Trinidad and Tobago, has the language too.
Thank you. We do need to take the time to look at the history of languages in Trinidad.
It was not hundreds, it was thousands who went.
Thank you for that clarification.
@colormyculture4 Thank you for sharing our history. There was a Haitian professor who spoke about this a little bit a couple years ago... her name is Joelle Vitiello. If I find it, I will share it with you. There's also a book by a Congolese writer which I'm trying to buy... "Les Haïtiens au Congo," by Camille Kuyu.
Please do. Thank you , I will check out the "Les Haïtiens au Congo," by Camille Kuyu.@@theotanis633
How do you celebrate Three Kings Day?
love to see it
What is your favorite Christmas tradition?
❤️💙❤️💙
La navase belongs to 🇭🇹 Haiti, unfortunately the island is claimed by the United States. It can not be.
Is a Dominican I’m praying for Haiti to find peace and stability Dominican Republic + Haiti , most beautiful island nations in the world
As a dominican i pray for that too because it will mean less htn immigration to DR
The island's 🏝 name is Ayiti (Kyskeya Boyo), not Hispañola. Ayiti stands for land of mountains.
Thank you for that information.
Beautiful choice! But the presentation looks horrible 😮 it's the proper way to present it
Thank you for your comment .
Hello guys! I just discovered your channel, and I love your. I subscribed, and I enjoyed all the videos that I viewed so far. They are very relevant, informative, and beautiful images. To summarize, your channel is awesome, and I'm learning a lot about Haiti. THANKS!

Hey la tortue is 37 by 7
Thank you.
I'm curious to know the other 51 Islands, since you stated they are 59 Islands in Haiti.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_islands_of_Haiti?wprov=sfla1
Hi, thank you for your comment. We only spoke about the islands we heard about since we were younger. We did not want to focus on the ones we did not know much about. I have always thought it was fascinating that Haiti had these big islands, especially La Gonave and La Tortue. We learned of these places when we were younger. So, we focused on what we know.
But we know there's more islands. While preparing to do this video, we spoke to a few family members that went a couple of islands way back but could not think of their names.
Very interesting! I've enjoyed watching!
Glad you enjoyed it. Thank you.
There are so many more islands scattered around the coast of Haiti like Corny Island, Cacique Island to name a few.
Thank you for that information.
🇭🇹 and 🇱🇨
Hello, it would have been better if a verbal example was given about the difference on both "Creole"
Thank you. That's a good idea.
The Creole people are North Africans Hebrews ,who wants to slavery.
THINK HAITI WINNING THE WORLD CUP
There six islands that Haiti 🇭🇹 have under control
There are way more than six. You must be talking about the biggest ones.
There’s a lot more. It’s 59 of them many have Haitians living on them
You talking shit
Thank you for making this video. I am Haitian American and i am excited on starting my journey to learning more about my people and where we come from. I look forward to learning more about Haiti and Haitians from you. Thank you 😊😊
You're so welcome! We plan to put videos about Haiti, our homeland and other parts of the Caribbean. Stay tuned. Thank you.
Beau travail. Il y a 2 livres récents écrits sur l’île de La Tortue par Abel Edmond
l’île de La Tortue seems to have a fascinating history that I will look into further. Merci.
Your work is very inspiring . We can see that make research to substanciate your affirmations. By the way you can watch Regate Tortugaise in La Tortue en Action. So you can have an idea of that Island. Thanks again for your production.
@@abeledmond9415 I will search and check it out. Thank you 🙏🏿.
Did you visit la navase?? It's also a haitian island
No, never visited. We mentioned Navassa Island in the video.
0:44 "Canada and the UK" for a lower cost of living? That's like saying: "I need a cheaper car, I'm going to buy a Mercedes". That statement totally didn't make sense.
I love the Haitian creole and people so much i from Barbados please visit my country
We lived in Barbados for some time and went to school there for a little while.
Nice to know u went to school here u must come back and live and work here
Correction. Creole is not spoken by any means in Grenada. It USED to be spoken by Grenadians two generations ago but they have lost it for the most part. Only the names of some villages and fruits and vegetables remain now. A grenadian cannot now converse in creole at least the majority cannot.
So, it existed in Grenada but not anymore. We suspect that to be the case. Now that I am thinking about it, I think parts of Trinidad had French based creole too that is dead now. Thanks for your comment and clarification.
@@colormyculture4Carriacou in Grenada might have parts that's still speak it.
Haitan Créole is not à patois because it is not broken French.
True. I read that from a linguist. Thank you.
59 Island and the Country is a complete ruin.
😞
educate yourself on the history of Haiti before u cast judgment
we enjoyed those islands are beautiful
You can't be calling the Island Hispaniola. The native name of the Island is Haiti, Quisqueya or Bohio.
So la Gonave is way bigger than Barbados 167sq miles to 224 sq miles Gonave
how lol
Yes it is bigger than a lot of the Lesser Antilles islands including Barbados, St Lucia, Grenada etc… Tortuga also named on this list is bigger than St Kitts and Montserrat for example.
@@509LM wow so Haiti not the poorest, but rich in lands
Try again, last time i counted 96 islands, and i found out more than 100+
