What size was the ball and where did you get it?

Is the frame level, or is it slightly sloped?

If you use just a little bit of pipe dope on top of that Teflon tape you won't have to go back and fix leaks. If I was going to use only one or the other I would use pipe dope.

How have these run-flat tires held up? I have a z121s and trying to decide on springing for more inflatables, or the cheaper run flats.

One tip for making better joints is to work in sections if possible, especially as a novice not used to working with pvc primer and glue. It’s best to work with the primer while it’s relatively fresh, while it’s still shiny or just after it “dries”, if you wait too long the plastic will set up hard again (primer softens the pvc so that it can chemically weld when the glue is applied) working one or two joints at a time allows for more time to work while everything is still fresh and perfectly suited to be glued together. Waiting too long will give weaker joints and lead to leaks, not a terrible problem on a system like this but your joints will hold up to the weight and age for longer. And most people don’t stop here, they might start dabbling in pressurized systems for their garden irrigation or diy plumbing to fix leaks and those are situations where proper fitting preparation are key.

Maybe you could circulate the water with solar powered pump ? Wouldn’t this stop the ones from freezing? Then create a pig watering nipple that will not freeze, or a tray they could step on to break up the ice so they could drink from it ? IDK as I do not have pigs, but love your work thanks again for all your efforts!!!

I was thinking it may be easier for your future service of your tanks , if you put a 45 to lower it below your wood supports so you could drive straight in with equipment….. maybe cut off valves independently for each tank in order to remove them independently… just thought I would share those thoughts along with my deepest thanks for all your efforts to produce this video. When solving problems, you have to be careful not to install new ones. The circulation solves the freezing problem. But it now means any backflow goes to all points. That makes it more likely to spread illness throughout. Especially now that it redistributes the water back to the source.

Try the yellow teflon tape. Its used on natural gas pipes. Its thicker than the white and it seals better especially on sharp stainless steel threads.

Will try to watch later with captions, as the video looked helpful and interesting; but the music was not helpful for me-very distracting.

Thing is, PVC glue isn't glue. It's solvent that melts or softens the PVC allowing the two pieces to bold together. Thinking of it as glue is not likely helpful because it by itself doesn't bond or seal anything and doesn't work on other types of plastic.

Does it freeze where you live? Why is the stand on an angle with your hose bib on the center ibc tote?

I guess you figured out about the middle tank, that one also has to be vented other wise it wont fill,, so what I did was on the top lid connected all 3 lids together to the over flow and in 5 or 6 years never have a vapor lock,,, just a thought
