That’s an old shell oil pumping unit, the sign on the samson post is a dead giveaway. Ocs units just like this one as well as the Parkersburgs are trademarks of an old shell lease here in southern Oklahoma…Awesome video, my friend.

Hey so I have a Fairbanks 503 engine and is losing power due to the exhaust valve cam shaft if worn out and won’t open enough, is there a way to enhance the valve travel? Thanks

That unit was made in Romania. They are tough.

So what brand of pumping unit is that?? Back in my oilfield days I could pick em out from the road. Like Lufkin, Parkersburg, Continental Emsco, Sentry, Tucker, all those good damn units.

It's all hodge podge anymore with oilfield equipment including drilling rigs. Lot of the good manufacturers are out of business or sold out to other companies.

If u want to start a old oilrig u must get allowance from oil workers to start it bcuz if the pipe from oilrig goes into abandoned oil refinery and at abandoned oil refinery the pipe are closed the high pressure methane gas can explode the pipe even if u opened it from abandoned oilrig the oil will go to nowhere and turn into waste (except the oilrigs u own by yourself)

Why have the sales valve open for that long if you’re waiting for a plunger? Looks like your well is all outta gas. I doubt your well is that deep. Or do you have it set up in intermitter? I usually have my 2000s open for 15 mins but the plunger makes it in about 6-10 minutes. If no arrival, I’ll have the controller go into mandatory shut in for about 24-48 hours to build up pressure.

I was having the same problem with my 05 Yukon Denali 6.0 Vortec. Thanks to your video I was able to relocate the knock sensor to the passenger side of the block. Now at 1st it wouldn’t just screw in on a cold block but, in my opinion after I ran the engine for a little while the block heated up and that made the knock sensor easy to screw in to the already drilled out bolt pattern. Honestly I just hand tightened the sensor, and ran wire from the sensor back to the connector, spliced & connected those wires and Walla Check Engine Soon Light GONE! Its been over 2 weeks now with no problems 😎

2001, just started acking up, did two into one wire, today, see if get gas mileage back up...thinking doing the same, might come up with rubber cover for all , more of Aircraft plug....

Could be worse you could be having to remove a SBC intake getting coolant everywhere. The new LS design is pretty much all good designs. Yes the knock sensors are buried on the the gen 3s but its not bad to get to them.

Where are you getting your switched power feed from? Amp gauge?

Im about reafy to replace all plastic lines with fuel grade flex lines
