@@davidecklund04 It doesn’t have to be a Jeep, the Auxbeam Controller should work with anything that has a 12v battery. You could mount this to a tractor, Golf cart or UTV. Just make sure you tap into a wire that is only on when the vehicle is on, so it turns off when not in use.

Rich, I think Stihl uses their own proprietary attachment system and/or the size of the tubes are different. If you own the Stihl Attachments, you might have to go with one of their Kombi heads; or if you really want the Dewalt, you may have to go with all new attachments. I’m pretty sure all the Ryobi, Craftsman, Dewalt and Trimmer Plus heads are all made by MTD or the same manufacturer, and just badged and built to the product line like they do with lawnmowers. Stihl makes great stuff, so it’s really up to you.

@@rich2785 it’s a bit older, just looked and it’s a Model: AH721 for the hedge trimmer and the pole saw is PS720

I know Ozark Overland runs both on his gas Jeep. Everything is powder coated. It will look great in the end I’m sure! Space might be a little tight with the pre-cleaner. Let me know how it turns out!

Just installed a Precleaner on a Buddies JL. He’s got both. Looks like he riveted the bracket to the Outside of the KC light bar.

@@lanemoyes9600 Lane, Thanks for watching. The latches are the cleanest looking and the metal is thick. The accessories mount flush with the back of the bumper. Total length is going to vary depending on your accessories. It’s either going to be your tires or a fuel/water can that sticks out the most. Fuel cans are about 15 inches. To Gauge it add 15 inches to the back of your tow hooks on the back. If you add a Trail bag onto your spare tire, you’re probably looking at needing about 2-2.5 feet. The Bumper weighs about 300lbs (Complete Pallet). 5 Gallon Water or Fuel Cans are about 45lbs each. Your Tire is also going to move further behind the Axle. With all that said. The Factory Rubicon/Jeep Springs are not going to be enough. My truck is already heavy, but the Rear bumper pushed my Clayton HD springs to the max, and I’ve added Airbags. I’m currently waiting on a set of Dobbinsons Highest Capacity Springs to come in (880-1210 lbs over stock) If you’re running mostly as a pickup I would suggest going with HD Springs (Clayton’s are triple rated up to 750lbs over stock) . If you’re going for a full overland build heavy tent, truck cap, and a bed full of gear; you’re going to want/need Heavier springs. You also don’t want to go too High of added payload or your truck might not ride the way you want when empty cruising around town. You’re also going to want an adjustable shock so you can tune in the ride to your liking. I run Rancho RS5000XLs and they’re a good shock with 9 levels of adjustments. Which way are you planning to go Overland or just a pickup?

@@StartBuildingYourDreamsthanks for the reply. I’m in Utah. I am doing about 60/40 overland/moab. I do have the 3.5” Clayton overland+ with the falcon 3.3. Dang, that is heavy if it overloading your springs if you have the same lift as me. I assume I have the same HD springs. I would have guessed that they would hold up the rear end considering that my back end it 2” higher than the front. I just talked to Clayton today and they are release long arms at the end of August. So 2.5’, I’ll have to measure and make sure I have the room. I’m also looking at the relentless fabrication bumper/ tire carries. The expedition one is appealing because they are local to Utah. I am going to get some 40” tires on order too. I have had bad luck with sidewall punctures on the Patagonia tires. 2 already! I think I’m going to try the Mickey Thompson Baja boss. I followed on insta as well!

I’ve never had a flat with my Load E 37” Toyos between my Ram 3500 and my Gladiator builds. Likely going to 40s soon too. Great chat and thanks for the comments!

Yeah, the Toyos are Even C…Load Capacity is there, but plys are less, unlike the 10plys I’m currently running 37x13.50R17s…

Sweet! Glad you liked it. The mount for the Harbor Freight (Badlands Offroad Jack) is made by Grove Fabworks as well as the Cover.

Truth be told, It’s currently in the shop at 10k miles…I had 66k miles on my 2021 gas manual with Zero issues…Hind sight being 20/20 I’d stick with gas.

Those are the Mopar Factory Rock Slider steps. They came on my 2021 Gladiator and I put them on my 2023. They’re not super heavy duty, but they do the job. Thanks for the question!

This rack and pinion was too far gone to try and replace individual components . In theory if you could find the lines you could replace them I.e if you only had a small slow leak but still had pretty good steering You might have to do some searching online or check with some salvage yards. It’s the internal seals that make the hydraulic system work, and they wear out over time just like the seals inside a shock or a hydraulic ram.

Sorry you’re running into so many issues. Mine was actually the jeep frame on the 2021. I recently traded in on a newer Gladiator in December and the bumper bolted right up. Let me know how it turns out!

Great Question(s), I asked the same thing when I bought mine from AEV. If you google the TSB you can see it is for the 2020 JL. Unless yours is a 2020 You likely have a later software version. If you still have any doubts I would give AEV a call, or just make sure you have the latest engine software update. AEVs customer service is really good, and they’re Jeep enthusiasts too. As far as blind spots, it takes up a little space, but hardly noticeable after driving around for a while. The Sy-Klone does make noise and some have complained about it, but I love Diesels so hearing some extra intake noises is a good thing in my book. Hope this helps!

I ran Rubi (gas Rubicon manual) for several months with 37’s and no lift, but I didn’t wheel it with them on. It’s all about the backspacing. Thats why I went with the Tactik wheels. I actually took everything off Rubi and installed it on Project Rampage (2023 ecodiesel). Let me know if you like the Project Rampage Series! Some folks go with the 2.5” lift, but I prefer the 3.5” at full flex it will stuff the 37’s into the wheel wells. Did you get a Rubicon? Are you planning an Overland build?

@@StartBuildingYourDreams what backspace do your wheels have? I have been looking at 4.75” backspacing with 0 offset wheels like the method racing line of wheels with the beadstay tech or whatever they call it. I think that should be about right.

I go with corded for uninterrupted power with certain tools. I do have a DeWALT cordless drill, but also a corded Milwaukee when required.

Nothing against Morrflate , but the MOAB auto air has a dedicated single tire mode and a multiple tire mode that’s why I bought it as my HF Kept blowing fuses. Nothing against the brand, the Ten six says on their website “Airing up an entire vehicle, 1 tire at a time, will damage the TenSix. It just simply puts out too much air and is optimized for 4 tires at a time.” You can hear the MOAB running at a reduced RPM on Single vs Multitire mode.
