Tailgate Chainsaw Vise
Uses a captured nut and an inexpensive F clamp. Now this same tool can be used on a tractor, ATV, skidsteer etc (or anything else heavy enough to anchor it) just by welding/bolting/screwing on another 5/8" nut. Could also still be used as an F clamp, except in this case I cut the clamp's bar shorter for convenience.

Home built splitter head made from some old axes and a bit of railroad rail. Attached to a Shearforce SM2 Hammer on a John Deere 17D excavator. Works pretty good for a little 14 HP outfit.

Hollow Log Campfire

Interesting fire burning a section of hollowed out Douglas Fir. Very hard, twisted grained wood, extremely difficult to split. Full of pitch and water. So we started using the rounds like a chimney, then just filled them with smaller stuff. Each round lasted for an evening.

Improvements from Gen1: -hydraulic dump -hinged ball hitch to allow ATV trailer to remain connected while the box dumps at the same time -sized for the Kioti CK2510 -self closing latch to hold the box on the forks while dumping, but operator does not have to get off the machine to release the box for loading -forks and box shortened so load is closer...

Prototype. First load with the 7/8 yd. dumping transporter box. Success. Tailgate is next. Then the trail grading blade underneath.
