Hard to believe the what the weather was like a couple months ago.
Both are great machines, im a case guy but i always love a good old 9600. Best deere ever made

We bale straw behind our 2388 every year. Just take the spinners off and it windrows it nicely
Still farming with my 2008 500 with the exact same hole in the seat cover as yours. It’s been at work for 14 years now. It’s a workhorse, not a showhorse. First major mechanical issue today….replacing the starter. Hope yours is still going too!
That 2388 can cut circles around that 9600. But the 9600 is still a good combine 👍

Would a Case ih magnum 400 pull the disc you are pulling
We were pulling that disk with a 976 versatile! its rated i belive 360 hp! I would say you would be able to pull that with your 400 magnum!

Those Wishek disks are awesome. We switched to one when our old IH 596 finally wore out. It’s almost more of a plow than a disk.
