Is that enough offset to work in a short bed truck?
I had a puck system installed into the bed of my 2024 F350 by a professional after purchase since to have one come from Ford at the time would have taken months longer for delivery. I watched several Pullrite videos like this one showing how to install a Pullrite Superglide into a puck system, bought mine from Amazon (saving $1500 from what my RV dealer would have charged) and installed it myself. Have since driven my RV 900+ miles using the hitch with no issues whatsoever. Loving my Pullrite!
When rotating the lock handles to lock pin, the handles seem too long (have to force inside lock tab with hammer). They'll go in but need some force, is this correct/acceptable)? Thanks.
Great instructions...I just installed mine "without a hitch"! 🙂 Thanx for the help.
Is this compatible with the #3900 or #2600 single point hitches by Pullrite?
I’m installing a 4500 model, even with the castle nut all the way down there isn’t much resistance turning the handle (the other 3 are fine)… I guess it is ok to add grade 8 washers to give more adjustment or is something else wrong?
Please call Customer Service at 800-443-2307 and they will be glad to help you!
Ouch
I feel their pain 😅
What to do when 1 of 4 brass puck washers won't fit any of the 4 post assemblies? I was thinking of light filing the small areas on the brass that impeads the post from entry. I plan to order 4 more but need the washer now.
Please call our Customer Service Dept. at 800-443-2307 for assistance.
Can this be mounted without the brass washers
What about if you already have a Pullrite but you buy a new vehicle with the pucks, 2021 Ford F250 and want to keep it low profile because of hard folding box cover.
I've been trying to find the pucks that go under the bed. How do I find these? I know they come factory installed but my truck did not and I can't find them anywhere. Looking for a 2020, 3500 HD GMC Denali with 4x4 Crew Cab 6.75 ft. box 158.9 in. If you have what I'm looking for I'll buy it from you.
Why #5 hole vs any other?
Nice
Nice video
What if you don't have the OEM puck kit. Are there covers available for the bed of it was installed aftermarket
I will like to buy that adapter plates for my 2700 superglide, but I'm wondering how high does it sit from the floor to the to off the hitch plate
Watched the whole video and you NEVER showed how it works. You only show the original problem, rather than your solution. FAIL.
Hi Mark Will this kit work with super glide #2900?
I saw zero "how it works" explanation in this video
czcams.com/video/spOnBzH5lIg/video.html
How are they going down the hiway and going around curves
One thing I see that I REALLY don’t like is the 4 pins that cam into the bed puck holes only have a small pin that essentially hold the entire system in. I wouldn’t trust that system at all. That is partly why I have the ISR setup. Even on the super lite setup where only the goose ball is the main attaching point with 2 small pins the hold the gooseball in , I would not trust it either.
Absolutely love this hitch. 2020 Ram 3500 short.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! Hello with Ukraine.
Yes I currently have a 2500 short bed dodge ram. But I’m looking at going to the 3500 with an 8ft bed. Will I still be able to use my sliding hitch with 8 foot bed? And can you use it without the capture plate?
When will this adapter be available for a 2020 GMC 2500 AT4 Standard bed?
i need one.
Will this work on my nissan xd?
Sturdy hitch and uses standard rails. Heavy✱>share4.photo/PPulliam?4 I use a block and tackle to remove from box when not in use and store on a piece of plywood with holes where the pins go and casters so can move around garage. I have had some problems getting it to clamp. Once pulled away and it wasn't all the way clamped. Just check to make sure past the latch point. I use a simple bail pin to make sure it doesn't come up either and guarantees I have the clamp all the way in. Had it in use 5 years.
*This hitch replaced one we lost in an accident. That on had 27,000 miles of trouble free towing on it. Hitch is IMO the best on on the market for short bed trucks.✱>**share4.photo/PPulliam?1 ** I can back in almost anywhere and make U-turns without hitting the cab. Got superrail kit so hitch can be removed and leave truck bed clear. Great!*
Will this mount on standard 2015 ram 3500 short bed/mega cab
Goose neck RV may be your answer. OR shallow bed 5th wheel.
thanks
nice what is the cost of the adapter hardware
From what I’ve read on your website, this will not work with the B&W turn over ball system?
The PullRite Single Point Superlite #2600 works great with the B&W turnover ball system. The only incompatibility that I am aware of is with the B&W ball for the factory puck system.
Thanks for doing this video as I am getting ready to order part number 2915 (OE GM/Chevy solution). The installation looks like a breeze!
It’s work in short bed truck?
Funny. I love mine. Works well for me. Tows my Cougar X-lite without difficulty. I have a slider hitch but with the design of the Cougar I have yet to need to use it. If you crunch your cab it is not the trailers fault and it is not the trucks fault, it is your fault for not being diligent. Fook Yu is a troll and an ass
I found it incredibly dangerous should be outlawed
As president of the world I would solve this and many other issues! All caravans are to be blown up, crushed or axles ripped out from under them, you are a danger and a menace with you're slow and poor driving skills! Death to caravans!
what's the price of this unit thanks Mike
I ordered a 16k pullrite superglide. should be delivered today.
i have a used sliding fifth wheel and need to sale it where do i go?
+Dan Blair what do you want for it ?
+Heather Smith. gave it away
Hey funguy661: You are exactly right about getting that thing on a dip and watch it hit. I speak from experience...times 2 lol. I pulled off the interstate for fuel and was turning into a gas station and drove over a low spot with a storm drain. Crushed the right cab corner on my truck bad and almost took the rear window out. To everyone who may not know the dangerous condition we're referring to here: If you are on uneven terrain and especially in a turn, the truck will be on a high spot and the camper will be on a high spot (the dip that funguy661 was referring to) and a low spot between the vehicles, disaster awaits and you won't even see it coming.
Bob Litzinger I found out this weekend the hard way myself... Backing into a spot in a local state park and bang. At first I thought the hitch had bound up, later I saw the damage to the rear of my crew cab. Guess I should call myself lucky that it didn't cause more damage and didn't break the rear glass. I hope this is a warning to everyone else, do not fail into a false sense of security that your shortbed pickup magically has an eight foot bed by using Superglide hitch. I learned the hard way, I hope you do not have too...
Your video is great....................loved it!!
I’ve just never understood the desire to tow such a large trailer for recreational purposes. Whenever I go somewhere, my goal is to be there (seeing what can be seen), not sitting in my trailer. For that, I don’t need monster to tow around - a 20-ft or less ultra-lite (standard hitch) is more than enough, and a lot easier & cheaper to tow.
So if it's not for you it shouldn't be for anyone else? Typical fucking self entitled liberal.
@@DrinkWhiskeyRaiseHell if this dipshit was in government he would either ban or tax the shit out of us because we prefer a fifthwheel .
Incorrect ... The Pullrite will pull any trailer, you just wont have the "slide" feature ... So you still can help that poor family stuck out in the middle of Kansas, when their Cummins quits running ...
+Slap Stick there is a fallacy in your statement, a cummins cannot quit running.
Lol
What do you have, if any at all, a chevy make believe diesel? Cummings is the only real diesel engine, used on the majority of tractor trailers and motor homes. running for over a million miles. You won't see a ford or chevy on them, grow up.
Slap Stick Wow....a reply to a 3 year old post ... Troll much ?? I have an old 7.3 stroker that pulls my 5th wheel, with a boat behind it
If you can keep the water pump from leaking and the clutching fan going at 55,000 miles in a motorhome I guess they might keep going.
