You don't need Emergency Ejection Defuses on solid kinetic shells. The GP casings go away when the shell is ejected, and the shells themselves do so little damage when ejected that they don't pose a threat to most other components in an Advanced Cannon. There is also a fine balance for just how accurate your CIWS needs to be for a direct hit. I find around 0.1 works well enough while still allowing for more damaging components or a better optimized cannon. A bit of a shame you didn't try out the multi-barrel burst CIWS I sent you. As for power priority, the Electric Engines show up as producers because they convert battery energy to engine power. They should be as low as possible in most cases, so they only run when other engines are overburdened. Propulsion (especially jets) should have high power use priority for airships to ensure they don't fall into the water if there's a power shortage.

I forgot to mention that there's some invisible hologram projectors in the cargo area to add an emblem to the sides of the structure. I like the exposed engine idea. I should work on my own refit as well now that I'm shaking off the FtD burnout.

I totally forgot this game. Last time I played it, they just added force fields. I was JUST done building a giant gate with those removable blocks(Are they still part of the game?), glas and lights to make it look like a large force field... Then the Server updates and we get the force fields... So much Work for nothing XD

The final boss in the game you just need to stay behind him he can't shoot you at all

Well. interesting to say the least. It's been a good bit since I've touched From The Depths, but mostly just because i haven't felt interested enough in trying to do anything in it. altho... on the plus side, is that I lately got a game called Starship Evo, and have been having fun with it, altho it is alpha and has it's fair share of bugs, and also lacks any real survival mode, and isn't really fleshed out in said aspects yet either. (I'm just enjoying it for the ship building aspect currently.) I'd recommend it to ya for you to play at some point if you haven't already.

Just for clarification the plasma canons are set on much bigger charge. I dont know why it wasnt showing to you. And it can climb quite well it just needs to get to like 30°. For better manual control just disable AI and fly . Anyway thanks and I will get to work 🙂

Also to put it bluntly you're opinion on the re rag having an advantage due to positioning is bullcrap. Frontsiders get to focus their armor towards the front making it objectively better in 1v1s. Railguns won't go though the armor instantly though crams and pierce PACs will, smart armor and movement will help deal with crams and active spreading out components will nullify pierce PACs.(requires spreading of cjes and smart internal placement, can't make it damage nothing but def can reduce it. Plus why would you spawn one craft in it's ideal position but intentionally put another it it's weakest?

I suspect the fundamental issue with your craft is it's armor heavy for it's weight class and it's weight class is by default lower than the re rags, not really possible to get a fair fight here. Even with your additions I'm willing to bet it's mostly armor cost. And brenzo kinda made sure he had solid missile defense, even if I question his ciws setup. (Multibarrel usage on kinetic ciws)

I think putting them at different angles each battle may help. So broadside one match, angle the next straight ahead the next ect ect may help. For your ship I think she needs to be faster and more manoeuvrable. More speed would help her a fair bit. Outside of that I can't think of anything else.

i see your frontsider broadsider argument but focing a broadsider to face forward just puts it at an obviously disadvantageous position compared to the frontsider. Brenzo actually did a decent job making it fair because he spawned his ship in a way that only 2 guns could fire and it would need to turn (although not a full 90 degrees) to be able to bring full capacity to bear. spawning both ships in they most advantageous positions tho is most fair in any case cause if a frontsider cant compete with a broadsider in that scenario, thats just proof that frontsiders are flawed

I don’t understand your argument about the starting angle. It wouldn’t be fair to have the draconia (or any frontsider) start at a broadside angle so why would it be fair to start a broadsider head on. Having a broadsider start at an angle and a front slider start front on means that both vehicles are fighting from the ideal orientation they are designed to fight from. This just comes down to the advantages and drawbacks of setting up a vehicle to fight a certain way. Front siders can use heavy armor wedge spam in a way that would be infeasible for a vehicle designed to fight in a broadside. That said, the ragnarok having a 300k mat advantage should mean it wins every time and I feel like the ragnarok is somewhat of a hard counter to the draconia purely because it can move laterally faster than the draconia can turn to maintain a front on angle. You now know that this is a design flaw of the draconia (not at all saying I could build anything that could come close to beating the draconia btw). Also, and you said this yourself, that sand blasters and Giga penetrators are a great way to counter the draconia and the ragnarok cannons are just that. Nevertheless, the draconia is certainly an amazing ship and I believe that if the ragnarok was more similar in cost that it would be a much closer fight.
